Worship is more than just singing a song. It's when we as Christian's worship God from the deepest part of our heart seeking to touch his heart. When that happens God in return inhabits the praises of His people and pours out His love, graces and peace upon us. There is a intimate fellowship that takes place when we pour our hearts out to God in worship. God responds to us and lavishes us.
There is a scripture that basically says "there is healing and fullness of joy in His presence". When we worship God, God pours out His wonderful presence, the presence of the Lord.
